First of all, at least you should know what is Prototyping Board.
The white board shown in this picture is an example of a prototyping board:
This board is also known as breadboard (solder less).
It is used to make up temporary circuits which will give us some kind of platform to test their functionality.
If you look closely, several electronic and circuit components are placed on that board. The interconnection inside this board enable the terminals (pins) of a component to connect to the terminals of other components.
