Stage 1

Main Objective:

To design a system that can control the temperature inside a box automatically.

Problem:
A system that can control the temperature of a box is to be designed.
Size of the box = 50cm x 50cm x 50cm.
The box must be made from a material that is not inflammable.
The thickness of the wall of each surface should be

Job description for the first stage:
Form a group of 4 or 5.
In this stage, each group has to come out with a design idea on how to achieve the main objective. The design ideas don't have to be too detail, however it should determine the fundamental instrumentation and control system elements that must be used.

For example:
There must be a component of the system that can show the exact temperature inside the box. How do you think this component should work? Just give a rough idea.

Prepare a poster that can show your ideas.
Maximum size of the poster is 1 x 1 m.
Submit to the JKE office before 12 pm, 23th of February, 2009 (Monday).
